On 19 October 2026, the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) officially warned that Quantara Global Markets (quantaraglobalmarketsltd.com) is not authorised by the FCA but, according to the regulator, is offering financial services to people in the UK. The company gives an address in London (East Finchley). If you deal with a firm that is not authorised by the FCA, the UK Financial Ombudsman Service and the FSCS compensation scheme will not help you, and it is almost impossible to get your money back. Details from the warning: Websites: quantaraglobalmarketsltd.com. Scammers often change website addresses, phone numbers and names, so a similar website with a different address may be the same scheme. What to do: do not transfer money, do not install remote access software, and do not send photos of your documents or your card details. Before trusting a company with your money, look it up in the official FCA register (register.fca.org.uk) and contact it only using the details from the official register, not from a website or an email. If you have already paid, keep your messages and receipts and contact your bank, the police and the relevant authorities. eures.europa.eu — EURES, the official job portal of the European Union

eures.europa.eu EURES
✓Antiscam editorial team

EURES is the European Job Mobility Portal, an official service of the European Union. It is run by a network of public employment services of the EU countries, Norway, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Switzerland. It brings together job vacancies from these countries and reference information about living and working in each of them: how to look for work, which documents you need, and how taxes work. The portal is free to use. How to use it safely: • Check the address in your browser's address bar: scammers make copies of official websites with similar addresses. It is safer to type the address yourself than to follow a link from a message. • Even on an official portal, job ads are posted by the employers themselves. Check the company in your country's government register and do not pay strangers for "processing", "reserving a place" or a "visa". • If an ad asks you to write only via Telegram or WhatsApp, promises a salary much higher than usual and asks for an upfront payment, these are signs of fraud. workinnorway.no — the official guide for people coming to work in Norway

workinnorway.no Work in Norway
✓Antiscam editorial team

Workinnorway.no is the official website of the Norwegian public authorities for foreigners who want to work in Norway. It is run jointly by NAV, the Tax Administration, the Directorate of Immigration, the Labour Inspection Authority and the police. It explains how to look for work, which permits you need, how to register with the tax office and what rights workers have. Do not confuse it with "Work in Norway" ads on job websites — this name is often used by unrelated parties. On 1 September 2026, the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) added the organisation "Getin Premium Bank" (GPB Bank), which operates through the website gpbbank.pl, to its list of public warnings. The KNF reported a possible crime to the Warsaw-Śródmieście district prosecutor's office under Article 171(2) of the Banking Act — this article prohibits anyone who is not a bank from using the words "bank" or "kasa" ("cash office"). Scammers often put words that resemble well-known Polish brands into their names so that the website looks trustworthy. On 14 October 2026, the Polish Financial Supervision Authority (KNF) added "Wolbórz Bank Polska" to its list of public warnings. It operates through the website wolborzb.com.pl. According to the KNF, this organisation has no right to use the word "bank" in its name — in other words, it is not a licensed bank. The KNF has reported a possible crime to the district prosecutor's office in Gorzów Wielkopolski. Fake "banks" with believable Polish names usually offer attractive deposits or quick loans, and then ask you to transfer money for "opening an account", "insurance" or a "fee". On 19 February 2026, the Norwegian financial regulator Finanstilsynet warned about four websites that call themselves banks and offer payment services and loans: Saptrust Bank, instant Bank, banksured Bank and WATTPROSAVER Bank. What the regulator found: none of them is authorised to provide such services; the websites do not say which company is behind them and give no registration number; they are not in the Norwegian business registers; and according to the Norwegian Mapping Authority, the Norwegian addresses they give do not exist. Only generic email addresses are given for contact. In Finanstilsynet's assessment, these "banks" are almost certainly not real and were set up to deceive people. This kind of scheme usually works like this: a person is promised a loan or an attractive account and is then asked to pay for "insurance", a "fee" or a "check" — and then the scammers disappear. How to check a bank: a real bank is listed in the official register of its country's regulator, and its legal entity, registration number and real address are stated. Free addresses such as *.web.app or *.firebaseapp.com are a serious warning sign. The real company has nothing to do with this website. Phone numbers listed in the FCA warning: +441975968275. Why this is dangerous: the clone has no licence, so money sent to it is almost impossible to get back — it is not covered by the UK Financial Ombudsman Service or the FSCS compensation scheme. The FCA warns that scammers may change phone numbers, email addresses and website addresses, and mix fake details with real ones. How to check any company: find it in the official FCA register (register.fca.org.uk) and contact it only using the details from the register, not the ones given on a website, in an email or in a messenger app. Source: official FCA warning — https://www.fca.org.uk/news/warnings/gsbcapitalpro-clone-fca-authorised-firm

How the registry works

  1. Anyone can add a phone number, website, company or Telegram account and describe their experience.
  2. A moderator checks every entry and every review first. Only descriptions of real situations are published.
  3. Each entry has two counters: ✗ scam and ✓ trustworthy. You can vote once per device and change your vote later.
  4. Write facts: dates, amounts, what was promised. No insults and no other people's personal documents.
  5. The moderator does not publish entries with false accusations, spam or personal data.
