Arbeidsplassen.no is the job portal of NAV, the Norwegian Labour and Welfare Administration. This is how it is described by the official EU portal EURES. If you are offered a "job at a fish factory" or "on an oil platform in Norway", look up that vacancy and the company here — real Norwegian employers publish their vacancies openly. How to use it safely: • Check the address in your browser's address bar: scammers make copies of official websites with similar addresses. It is safer to type the address yourself than to follow a link from a message. • Even on an official portal, job ads are posted by the employers themselves. Check the company in your country's government register and do not pay strangers for "processing", "reserving a place" or a "visa". • If an ad asks you to write only via Telegram or WhatsApp, promises a salary much higher than usual and asks for an upfront payment, these are signs of fraud.
