Check a job offer before you pay or travel

Paste the text of a job ad — from Telegram, OLX, Facebook or a chat with a "manager". We will look for typical signs of fraud and check phones, @usernames, emails and websites against the registry.

Paste the whole ad, including contacts. Up to 6000 characters.
You can also use Telegram: forward the job ad to our bot @antiscamhub_info_bot and it will check it the same way. Our Telegram channel @antiscamhubb — new scam numbers and sites every day. Subscribe to hear about new schemes first.Subscribe

How to check an employer yourself

  1. Ask for the full company name and registration number. Check them in the country's official register: in Poland — KRS and CEIDG, employment agencies — in the KRAZ register; in Czechia — ARES; in Germany — Handelsregister; in the Netherlands — KvK.
  2. Find the company's official website and call the number listed there, not the one in the ad.
  3. Enter the phone, @username and name in the registry search, and search the name online together with the words "reviews" and "scam".
  4. Ask for a sample contract in advance and show it to a lawyer or to friends who already work in that country.
  5. Look for jobs on trusted platforms, such as the European portal EURES.
  6. Pay nothing before signing a contract and do not send photos of your passport to strangers.

Frequently asked questions

Do you store the job ad text?

No. The text is checked once and is not stored anywhere. If the offer turns out to be a scam, you can add it to the registry yourself to warn others.

If the check finds no warning signs, can I trust the offer?

Not necessarily. The check looks for typical signs of fraud and compares contacts with the registry, but it cannot check the company for you. Before you travel, check the firm in the country's official register and pay nothing before signing a contract.

What if I have already paid?

Keep the chats, receipts and numbers, contact your bank to try to dispute the payment, and report it to the police. More in our article "What to do if you have already sent money to scammers".

Came across a fake job offer? Add it to the registry — it takes a couple of minutes and may protect other job seekers.
