On 15 October 2026, the Financial Supervisory Authority of Norway (Finanstilsynet) officially warned that the company Fondavex is contacting people in Norway and offering them to invest money through the trading platform steinvault.com. Such operators are not authorised to provide investment services in Norway, and Finanstilsynet advises against signing agreements with them or transferring money to them. According to the regulator, typical signs of this scheme are "profits" from trading with "artificial intelligence", pressure on the person to make a first deposit, and problems withdrawing money. Details from the warning: Websites: steinvault.com. Scammers often change website addresses, phone numbers and names, so a similar website with a different address may be the same scheme. What to do: do not transfer money, do not install remote access software, and do not send photos of your documents or your card details. Before trusting a company with your money, look it up in the Finanstilsynet register (finanstilsynet.no) and contact it only using the details from the official register, not from a website or an email. If you have already paid, keep your messages and receipts and contact your bank, the police and the relevant authorities.
