What happened · Antiscam editorial team

On 5 October 2026, Luxembourg's Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) officially warned that unknown persons are pretending to be the Luxembourg bank Eurobank Private Bank Luxembourg S.A. and are using fake websites, email addresses, and Swiss and French phone numbers. The real bank has nothing to do with this. The warning was updated on 9 and 14 October 2026. Details from the warning: Websites: web.eurobankportailclient.com, eurobank-invest.com, eurobkprivate.com, eurobankprivate.com, eurobanklxbrg.com. Phones: +41225191429, +33185093445, 07 43 39 35 78, 01 89 76 01 87, 01 89 71 88 03, 01 89 75 00 81. Email: serviceclient@eurobkprivate.com, service.client@eurobank-private.com, addresses like firstname.lastname@eurobankprivate.com, @eurobanklxbrg.com, @eurobank-invest.com. Scammers often change website addresses, phone numbers and names, so a similar website with a different address may be the same scheme. What to do: do not transfer money, do not install remote access software, and do not send photos of your documents or your card details. Before trusting a company with your money, look it up in the CSSF registers (cssf.lu) and contact it only using the details from the official register, not from a website or an email. If you have already paid, keep your messages and receipts and contact your bank, the police and the relevant authorities.
