On 28 November 2025, the Swedish Financial Supervisory Authority (Finansinspektionen) officially warned that people claiming to represent E-Fast Service (the company is supposedly based in the UK) are offering people in Sweden loans and credit. The Swedish Finansinspektionen has not been able to establish that such a company actually exists; it is not authorised to operate either in Sweden or in the country where it is supposedly registered. Fake lenders usually ask you to pay "insurance" or a "fee" before the loan is paid out — and then disappear. Details from the warning: Websites: e-fastservice.com. Scammers often change website addresses, phone numbers and names, so a similar website with a different address may be the same scheme. What to do: do not transfer money, do not install remote access software, and do not send photos of your documents or your card details. Before trusting a company with your money, look it up in the Finansinspektionen company register (fi.se) and contact it only using the details from the official register, not from a website or an email.
