What happened · Antiscam editorial team

On 18 March 2026, the Central Bank of Ireland officially warned that a clone has copied the name and details of the real licensed firm Private Client Trustees Limited in order to pretend to be it. It is not authorised to provide investment services in Ireland, and the real firm has nothing to do with it. The clone's contact details also include the email address of another clone — Oristan Ireland. The warning was updated on 30 March 2026. Details from the warning: Websites: privateclienttrustees.com, privateclienttrusteesltd.com. Phones: +35315266500. Email: office@privateclienttrustees.com, info@privateclienttrusteesltd.com, info@oristanirelanddac.com. Scammers often change website addresses, phone numbers and names, so a similar website with a different address may be the same scheme. What to do: do not transfer money, do not install remote access software, and do not send photos of your documents or your card details. Before trusting a company with your money, look it up in the Central Bank of Ireland register (registers.centralbank.ie) and contact it only using the details from the official register, not from a website or an email. If you have already paid, keep your messages and receipts and contact your bank, the police and the relevant authorities.
