On 17 September 2026, the UK Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) officially warned that novatask.uk is a clone: scammers copy the name and details of the real FCA-authorised firm "Nova Business Finance Ltd" (FCA register number: 1016336) to win people's trust. The real company has nothing to do with this website. The scammers call themselves NovaTask, use the Telegram account @Nova_task and give an address in London's Covent Garden (Shelton Street). The clone is not authorised by the FCA, so it is not covered by the UK Financial Ombudsman Service or the FSCS compensation scheme. Details from the warning: Websites: novatask.uk. Scammers often change website addresses, phone numbers and names, so a similar website with a different address may be the same scheme. What to do: do not transfer money, do not install remote access software, and do not send photos of your documents or your card details.
