What happened · Antiscam editorial team

On 9 September 2026, Luxembourg's Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) officially warned that unknown persons are using the name of the Luxembourg bank Quintet Private Bank (Europe) S.A., inventing non-existent branches of it in Sweden and France, and falsely calling it a subsidiary of the Geneva-based "Quintet Capital S.A.". The real bank is not involved. The warning was updated on 13 October 2026. Details from the warning: Websites: quintet-cp.com, log.quintet-private.lu. Phones: +41779832878. Email: addresses like firstname.lastname@quintet-private.com and @quintetcapitalsa.com. Scammers often change website addresses, phone numbers and names, so a similar website with a different address may be the same scheme. What to do: do not transfer money, do not install remote access software, and do not send photos of your documents or your card details. Before trusting a company with your money, look it up in the CSSF registers (cssf.lu) and contact it only using the details from the official register, not from a website or an email. If you have already paid, keep your messages and receipts and contact your bank, the police and the relevant authorities.
