On 14 August 2026, the Astana Financial Services Authority (AFSA, Kazakhstan) officially warned of suspected fraud in the name of Venera Capital Ltd.: the websites vcptlentry.com and quote.vcptlentry.com and the "Webtrader" platform were used, along with fake documents bearing a director's signature, a seal and a "Verified by AFSA" stamp. People were asked to pay in USDT and through P2P transfers, but were not allowed to withdraw their money. The real Venera Capital Ltd. has nothing to do with this. Details from the warning: Websites: vcptlentry.com, quote.vcptlentry.com. Scammers often change website addresses, phone numbers and names, so a similar website with a different address may be the same scheme. What to do: do not transfer money, do not install remote access software, and do not send photos of your documents or your card details. Before trusting a company with your money, look it up on the AFSA website (afsa.aifc.kz) and contact it only using the details from the official register, not from a website or an email. If you have already paid, keep your messages and receipts and contact your bank, the police and the relevant authorities.
