Arbetsförmedlingen is the Swedish Public Employment Service. Its job bank Platsbanken (arbetsformedlingen.se/platsbanken) can be browsed without registering, and information about its services is available in several languages. Vacancies from Platsbanken also appear on the European portal EURES. How to use it safely: • Check the address in your browser's address bar: scammers make copies of official websites with similar addresses. It is safer to type the address yourself than to follow a link from a message. • Even on an official portal, job ads are posted by the employers themselves. Check the company in your country's government register and do not pay strangers for "processing", "reserving a place" or a "visa". • If an ad asks you to write only via Telegram or WhatsApp, promises a salary much higher than usual and asks for an upfront payment, these are signs of fraud.
