On 10 September 2026, the Czech National Bank officially warned that the operator of the Payment Soft platform (pay-softs.com) has no authorisation from the bank, although the platform falsely claims to have a licence for payment services. The operator calls itself "Z.D. Maleč A.S.", but there is no such company in the commercial register: it uses the name of a real small payment service provider, Zemědělské družstvo Maleč. Details from the warning: Websites: pay-softs.com. Scammers often change website addresses, phone numbers and names, so a similar website with a different address may be the same scheme. What to do: do not transfer money, do not install remote access software, and do not send photos of your documents or your card details. Before trusting a company with your money, look it up in the Czech National Bank's database of supervised entities (cnb.cz, JERRS) and contact it only using the details from the official register, not from a website or an email. If you have already paid, keep your messages and receipts and contact your bank, the police and the relevant authorities.
